Survivor

Edit: Forgive me if the lore's not quite right! I'm still very, very new to WoW so I'm only going by what I could pick up while playing and asking questions to my friends who are avid WoW players.

As a young girl, Avonis was raised in a small rural area near Silvermoon as the only child of Hunter Beluth, her father, and Paladin Avune, her mother. During the early years of her childhood, things were happy. The closely knit village gave her many friends, and her attentive parents raised her well. But, in the midst of her seventh year, her entire world changed.

During the infamous Scourge attack, Avonis' family and friends were completely destroyed, leaving Avonis with nothing but her father's short bow. She took refuge in the streets of Silvermoon, but a filthy, homeless child did very little to catch the attention of its citizens. Just when she feared she would die of starvation, a dragon hawk approached her with a dead mouse for her dinner. This dragon hawk, soon to be named Khaleese (Kal-EES), took young Avonis under her wing, and from then on regarded her as her own.

The years passed (about a hundred or so), and the two lived their lives in the Eversong woods, away from society as Avonis knew it. She hunted for food, stealing what she could for clothes. For a while, Avonis was content to live and die this way. Then, in her late teen years, Avonis came across a human rouge, the two crossing paths by accident.

This human, Ledfell, had been sent on a mission to slaughter a band of orcs for money. Though first disgusted by such a quest, Avonis quickly learned that the world outside her forest was a lot stranger than when she left. For a time, she allowed Ledfell to bring her back into the world of sciety, showing her what the world had come to. She and Ledfell grew closer over the days, and soon even fell in love. But again, Avonis's world was decimated when Ledfell turned on Avonis herself for a sack of copper.

After escaping back into the forest, Avonis continued her old way of life, but it wasn't long before she craved what society has to offer. And so, taking a chance, Avonis has flung herself back into the world, all in all doing what she can to achieve one goal: survive.

That's the reader's digest version, anyway. Yes, I was finally coaxed to bite the WoW hook, and thus I've created this. So far, it's pretty fun :3 I haven't had a lot of time to play because of my other projects, but all in all, I'm having a good time 8D
