Please Don't Leave Me

This picture started off a to be a lot more sinister, but surprise surprise, I made it a big, sappy, sugary mess. I blame the "Dead Island" teaser music. Which, by the way, if you haven't seen the trailer for that... what the hell are you doing with your life?

Anywhos... For once, these two aren't actually based off of a role play. I don't even know their names. It's just sort of an image I got in my head yesterday while I was sick and dying to draw something. I was actually looking through a random gallery, and I found myself thinking "wow. This person is good, but there's no variety. It's like looking at the same thing over and over." Not wanting to let myself fall into such a trap, I decided to do something I don't normally do, which is mermaids. Er, mermen and octo-people, I guess.

I don't know... I guess while I was drawing it I sort of made a story for them. That like... octo-people are sort of monsters where the mermaids come from. But they were friends when they were younger or something but then they got separated but now they're together again, but the fish dude doesn't want to jeopardize the life he already has or... whatever.

Anyway... I found myself really liking these designs. I might do more of them in the future. If you want to see them again, let me know down below.
